Gunther is currently the World Heavyweight Champion, running things on RAW. That’s the top of the mountain, so to speak. But one WWE Hall of Famer believes that a program between Brock Lesnar and Gunther could be huge for the Austrian champion. On a recent episode of his podcast, The Undertaker spilled the beans on his thoughts for the current top champion on RAW.
The Beast Could Offer A Boost
Acknowledging how good the European Superstar has been, The WWE Hall of Famer shared some other tidbits. He noted that he and Gunther recently crossed paths and shared some words. For starters, in a sign of major respect, ‘Taker told the champion that if things had worked out and the two could have wrestled, they would have made money. But looking at the current landscape? There is one absent but recent Superstar who could take Gunther to amazing heights.
Enter The Beast Incarnate
WWE fans have wanted this since the two Superstars stared down in the Royal Rumble. We were rumored to be getting Gunther battling Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania in Philadelphia, but legal issues had other plans.Specifically, Lesnar has been ensnared in the major legal drama surrounding Vince McMahon. With his legal entanglements more pressing, Lesnar has been missing from WWE television since 2023. We have heard that, should the internal investigation clear Brock of any wrongdoing, the door remains open for a return.

And a return, to face off with the World Heavyweight Champion? According to The Undertaker, Lesnar could push Gunther to a whole new level. If done right, that feud could truly make Gunther one of those upper echelon, nearly untouchable Superstars. You can see that Gunther has the talent, the skills and just the entire package. A proper banger of a feud with Brock Lesnar could truly elevate Gunther just that much more. At least, that is what The Undertaker thinks, and I would say his opinion is pretty valid.
