Is it crazy? Probably. Fantasy booking? Right now, for sure. Credit for this out there idea comes from Bubba Ray Dudley and Mark Henry on Busted Open. So, maybe not “news”, but both men have been around all the names mentioned above, and are veterans of the business. Them throwing the idea out there is far less fan fiction, I think. It may still be fantasy booking, but let’s discuss, shall we?

On the June 21 SmackDown, one part of this was set in motion. Heyman interrupted CM Punk in Chicago. Punk is, of course, a big former Paul Heyman Guy. The two shared a hug before the Bloodline came down. And before the segment ended, Paul asked Punk to take him with him. We’ve seen Heyman nervous around Solo for weeks, that was the first time he put it into words.

On top of that, Sikoa recently told Heyman to forget Roman Reigns, because “Roman isn’t coming back. Which is basically a way to say, yes, he’s coming back. Roman is not a Paul Heyman Guy, per se. Heyman is Reigns’ Wise Man. Same idea, new moniker, but as of now, no reason to think that the Reigns-Heyman union isn’t still intact.

The Longshot

And then Brock Lesnar, the one in limbo. Let’s say he’s a longshot, because right now, he’s basically administratively suspended. If he is ever cleared of wrongdoing in the Janel Grant case, one has to assume that WWE might be fine doing more work with him. But, for now, he’s technically available but also very much radioactive. But let’s say he gets cleared, and we’ve already moved past a Bloodline Civil War. Maybe Solo and the new blood take out everyone and it’s Roman and Paul left.

And then, as they beat down Roman, we have Heyman coming out with a brand new, 21st century Dangerous Alliance. Lesnar, Reigns and Punk (and perhaps some other friends) versus Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa and Jacob Fatu? Sign me up!
