WWE News: Updates on Miro’s Potential WWE Return Date And If Wife CJ Perry/Lana Will Join Him

Some new evidence and reports may reveal when Miro could make his WWE return and if his wife CJPerry, AKA Lana, could be a part of his comeback.

This year has brought a ton of roster movement between WWE and AEW, and it has all been one-way traffic. Since the start of 2025. Former AEW tag team champions (on separate teams) Penta and Ricky Starks — now Ricky Saints — have made the jump from one company to the other.

Penta’s brother Rey Fenix is set to make his debut on tonight’s Smackdown. And former NXT champion Malakai Black is rumored to make his return to WWE from AEW later this month. That leaves one last recently departed All Elite Wrestling talent that is expected to make the switch in the weeks ahead: Miro.

Well, some fresh news may point to when that might happen and if he could have his love interest by his side when that moment comes.

Miro will be in Las Vegas during WrestleMania 41 weekend

This week, it was reported that the man once known as Rusev has his new WWE contract and was in the company’s headquarters in Connecticut to finalize the deal. Interestingly enough, Knok X Pro revealed that Miro will also be in Las Vegas during WrestleMania 41 week for a special guest appearance.

It could certainly set up the former United States Champion as a special surprise for the two-night mega-event on April 19 and 20. Yet, that is not where the Miro WWE return news ends.

In a new edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the speculation of CJ Perry joining Miro for his return was covered. After separating last year, the pair that were once dubbed Rusev and Lana have actually gotten back together and renewed their wedding vows. However, the outlet reported they won’t reunite on-screen, and there are no internal plans as of now to bring her back.

The company released Rusev/Miro in April of 2020. Perry/Lana was cut the following year. Both would go on to eventually join AEW but had disappointing runs in the promotion, mostly due to creative differences.
