It’s a big weekend in Toronto, Canada. WWE is running a number of shows, beginning with the July 5th SmackDown ahead of the 2024 edition of Money In The Bank. Plenty of fans are super excited to be there. And, as fans at live shows often do, they post things to social media to share their experiences. And sometimes, their views on what happens off camera. Usually that off camera fun is nothing crazy or important, but sometimes it could be a teaser of things to come. Or, in this case, a possible Money In The Bank spoiler about the return of a former champion.

Specifically, Charlotte Flair.

Flair has not been seen in a WWE ring since early December of 2023, when she wrecked her knee during a match. She underwent surgery and has been intensively rehabbing the injury ever since. The extent of the injury carries with it typically a 9 month recovery time table. It is entirely possible to make it back ahead of schedule, especially when you consider that she is a world class athlete who has some exceptional resources available to her. Which is why this post on X is very interesting.

We are just about 8 months past Flair sustaining her knee injury. If we go for the 6 to 9 month estimate, she’s smack in the middle of that. And, if WWE wants her coming back now to tee up a SummerSlam match? She’s probably ready enough to walk to the ring, drop a woo or two and kick that off. She could be close enough to clearance that hyping a match a few weeks away is safe. Or, putting it another way? She could indeed be back later today. Seeing her in Toronto is not all that implausible. I doubt they’d be dusting off her lasers in case her husband is victorious in the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match.
