It’s been a top feud in the company for several years now, so is WWE eying a fresh Bloodline recruit?

One of the fun aspects of the Bloodline saga is how many connected Superstars WWE already had under contract. Right from the start, you had Roman Reigns and the Usos. Solo Sikoa was hanging out in NXT and Nia Jax was also around. Looking into the alumni and semi-retired section? You had the Wild Samoans, Rikishi, The Rock and more. It’s a very big family in wrestling. The ability to bring in and regularly introduce new and fresh names and faces has kept this saga running for so long.
And while we have seen new faces recently introduced, we do know there are other Anoai family members getting started in professional wrestling. And some who aren’t, but could be. After all, especially in more recent times, WWE has done a lot of work identifying college and amateur athletes who could make the transition to professional wrestling. Not all of those coming in that route were wrestlers, and not all of them had a family tie to the business. For every Charlotte Flair or Bron Breakker (family ties, but good college athletes on their own) we have a Sol Ruca or Tiffany Stratton.
Bloodline higher education
Thanks to a social media post from backstage at a recent SmackDown, many are wondering if the future of the Bloodline is currently in college. Vaughan Anoa’i is the cousin of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. She is also a top notch college volleyball talent, playing for Georgetown. From the picture that made rounds, she’s also not much shorter than her cousins(she’s 6’2!). An athlete with Bloodline ties, it’s no surprise that WWE is reportedly very interested in her as a fresh Bloodline recruit. She might be one they cannot land, however. Looking at her coverage leading to college, she is a very bright young woman for whom athletics is not her singular focus. And, she’s at Georgetown planning for a career in law.

But, according to wet blanket Rikisihi, on a recent podcast, he doubts that she would head to WWE. As he puts it, while she absolutely could, he always tells the younger members of the family to find something outside of wrestling. That could be a nod to the wear and tear and hardships of travel-wrestling can be a tough business. But, it is also hard for anyone to ignore just how significant the Bloodline story is and has been, so perhaps the allure will be enough. With NIL deals very much a thing now, WWE could surely make an offer that starts things rolling. Or, Vaughan could be like other members of the family who just don’t want to work in a ring.
