As he gets older, he gets a bit less filtered. So, having him as a guest on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast? Probably not the best idea, but surely a ratings winner. And Paul is no stranger himself to questionable remarks, especially recently. So, you just knew by having the WWE Hall of Famer on the former United States Champion’s show, interesting things would be said.

The biggest and safest piece of news? Hogan compared his time working for Vince McMahon-whom he at times loved and hated, to his time working with Nick Khan. While Hogan has barely been around the new power structure, that may change. According to the Hulkster, he has at some point inked a new five year deal with the company. Clearly this would be a Legends type of ambassador arrangement, covering his merchandise and appearances as requested. Hogan mentioned some of those opportunities on the show.

It wasn’t all uneventful

He mentioned appearing on a future WrestleMania, should he get the call. Honestly, knowing what he’s got going on, I would expect more appearances on shows like Crown Jewel. But, looks like we will be seeing him in and around the company for years to come, thanks to Hulk Hogan’s new deal. That is, unless some other comments he made on the show come back to bite him.

There are a few names from the company’s past that are basically off limits. One of them would be Chris Benoit, who’s name hasn’t come up on WWE television since they found out he perpetrated a double murder and suicide. And while it isn’t WWE television, Logan is a WWE Superstar and, apparently, Hogan is under WWE contract too. And on his appearance, Hogan in a way compared himself to Benoit.

Specifically, Hogan said that wrestling fans are a forgiving bunch-but he used the Canadian Crippler to make the point. Hulk said that if Benoit could do what he did and fans still love him, that wrestling fans are very forgiving. And knowing he has done some questionable things (and now said some really questionable things), will wrestling fans be forgiving to Hogan himself? Or, more important, will Nick Khan and team get upset by the interview and rescind that new deal?
