WrestleDream came and went, with some newsworthy moments. In particular, we got the return of Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson is done as a full time wrestler after losing the AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley and Swerve Strickland is back. Somewhere in that mix, Bobby Lashley was supposed to debut. Instead, he was not used or seen backstage.
Ibou of WrestlePurists reports how he was set for the pay per view. Instead, AEW decided to wait as the card did not require any more major angles. Basically, they did not want his debut to get lost in the shuffle. If you remember, Lashley appearing on TV is only a matter of time. It could happen this Wednesday, unless the promotion continues to delay the debut.
Bobby Lashley And MVP To Reunite In AEW With Familiar Stable

Not long ago, MVP debuted for AEW. Then, he returned with support in Shelton Benjamin and promised more to come. WrestleDream saw Strickland and Prince Nana approached by MVP. It seems like MVP wants Strickland to leave Nana. Although, we got the opposite as Strickland is staying put.
The belief is The Hurt Business will be recreated in AEW as The Hurt Syndicate. It will feature all the previous members, minus Cedric Alexander. He recently re-signed with WWE and has several years left on his contract. Remember, Lashley departed WWE earlier in the year. It was his second stint for the company and most impressive with several world title reigns. Once Vince McMahon resigned from WWE, Lashley was not featured much by Triple H. So, what do you think of AEW not having Bobby Lashley debut at WrestleDream like many thought?
