Rumored Next Bloodline Member Zilla Fatu Hints At Deal With WWE Being Done

There have been rumors for months that Zilla Fatu, the son of WWE great Umaga, could eventually sign with the company. Well, the new Rope Heavyweight Champion hinted that a deal may be closer than ever on Wednesday.

Over the last few months, Bloodline member Jacob Fatu has taken Smackdown by storm. For some time, there had been rumblings about another member of the Anoa’i competing on the independent scene and having serious superstar potential. Well, WWE fans have quickly seen how dominant of a force the “Samoan Werewolf” can be.

However, there is another Fatu that’s created a lot of buzz on the independent scene in recent years. Zilla Fatu, the cousin of the Usos, is considered one of the next great Anoa’i family prospects. The 25-year-old has already won the Reality of Wrestling and House of Glory Crown Jewel Championship in just his first couple of years in the industry.

Unsurprisingly, there have been reports that he was on WWE’s radar. And now seems that he may have signed a unique deal with the company.

Zilla Fatu hints at signing WWE ID deal

Last week, WWE announced its new independent development initiative. The new program will work with several wrestling schools around the country and also sign prospects to mentorship deals. The goal is to help in the maturity of certain prospects and offer a clearer path to eventually joining the company on a full-time basis.

On Tuesday, the WWE ID social media account wrote, “Someone’s been ID’d… be there this Sunday to find out who.” The post was a repost for an upcoming Reality of Wrestling event. The same company that discovered and developed Zilla Fatu.

In response to the news, Fatu posted an emoji of a paper being signed. Possibly hinting he has been ID’d and is finally under the WWE umbrella. Or it could also be him telling the program that they should ink him to an agreement.

We will all find out this weekend at the ROW Super Sunday event on Nov. 10.
