The brother of Smackdown star Jacob Fatu is one of the notable prospects on the independent scene. However, this week he may have seriously hurt his chances of landing with the WWE in the near future.
Over the last three years, Roman Reigns and his cousins turned The Bloodline into one of the greatest factions of all-time. The group has dominated and had record-setting championship runs. However, what makes The Bloodline saga so unique is almost all of the members are related.

There has long been a Samoan dynasty in professional wrestling and The Bloodline has taken that history to new heights. However, in 2024 there has been a serious expansion as former enforcer Solo Sikoa usurped control of the faction and brought in relatives Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.
Fatu, a former MLW champion, has taken WWE by storm with his aggression and impressive athleticism for a man of his size. For those that followed him in the independents, he is seen as the most talented of the current crop of Samoan the dynasty. His increased profile has also put a spotlight on his brother Zilla Fatu.
With the growth of The Bloodline many wrestling fans have taken an interest in other family members that could potentially join the faction. And Jacob Fatu’s brother Zilla is a talented performer on the radar of many fans. However, he may have damaged his reputation and chances of a move to WWE this week.
Jacob Fatu’s brother Zilla on the outs with Game Changer Wrestling
“Zilla Fatu will not be appearing on tonight’s GCW event in Philadelphia, or any GCW shows for the forseeable future,” GCW said in a statement on X Friday night. “We tried our best to avoid this situation, but we have reached an impasse. We wish him the best.”
The brother of Jacob Fatu is also the son of former WWE star Umaga. He had a similar situation last year with Reality of Wrestling, but eventually returned to the promotion he made his pro debut with. However, it is not a great sign that he could be developing a reputation as a bit of a problem child so early in a career that start in 2023.
It will certainly be something WWE talent evaluators will take into account when considering him as a potential addition for a brand like NXT.
