30 months after breaking his neck, a Big E WWE in-ring return is possible before 2024 concludes and it could be in a matter of months.

After so long in WWE, they finally decided to give Big E a push into the main event. It began when he won Money In The Bank and then successfully cashed-in on RAW against Bobby Lashley. It is one of those very few cash-ins were the holder announced their plan ahead of time.
What followed was a lackluster WWE Championship run. It just felt WWE only saw him as a paper champion or a way to quickly please the fans. Everything changed on March 11, 2022. During SmackDown, Big suffered a broken a neck and is yet to return.
Big E WWE Return To Save The New Day?
While on Kyle Odegard of Philly Sports Talk, Big E noted how he has some scans coming up and if everything is cool, he could be back within months. “I get scans again in another three to six months,” said Big E. “And if they look great and the doctors say it’s healthy for me to go back, then that’s something where we’ll sit down and talk about it. It’s nice to know that if I get the opportunity to get back in the ring, and I can do it healthily, then let’s do that. Let’s attack it fully. But if not, I know exactly what I want to do, and I’m excited about that path too.”
If he does return, it sees the New Day at a crosswords. After a decade together, we are seeing cracks in the stable. Xavier Woods has been teasing a heel turn. Honestly, I am not sure if fans want the duo to remain. They are fun to watch, but most of that appeal has become stale. So, will a Big E WWE in-ring return happen in-time to save the New Day?
