Wrestlers who sell loads of tickets eventually get a push from the WWE, since they put butts in seats at live tapings and house shows. Of course, some WWE Superstars sell more tickets than others, so let us take a closer look at the most successful ticket sellers in the WWE.
Triple H
It is no surprise that the Game is on the list since he is certainly one of the most ambitious wrestlers to join the WWE. Since he worked his way up to management, Triple H’s appearances in the ring are rare. However, when he is scheduled to appear, the man is one of the highest ticket selling wrestlers today.
Target audience: men & women over 30.
Roman Reigns
Even though he had to deal with loads of booing in his career, the man does know how to sell tickets. At the time of this article, Roman Reigns is one of the superstars who sells the most tickets for live tapings and pay-per-views, which would explain why the WWE is hell-bent on pushing his character.
Target audience: children, women of all ages.
AJ Styles
I could go on forever about AJ Styles, his talent, and how he is the best wrestler in the world today. But let’s keep this one brief since I’m sure you are curious about the other people on this list.
Let’s face it, I don’t need to explain why AJ Styles is a big ticket seller. I don’t even have to explain why he replaced Jinder Mahal for Survivor Series 2017! He’s phenomenal. He’s A…J…Styles!!
Target audience: everyone.
John Cena
Like Triple H, John Cena is not a wrestler you can see every week anymore; this mainly has to do with the countless other projects John Cena has on his schedule. However, despite his busy schedule and lengthy absences, John Cena is still one of the biggest ticket sellers in the business.
Target audience: children, women of all ages
Brock Lesnar
While I quickly put some disinfectant on my hands, since I feel quite dirty typing this, Brock Lesnar is one of the best ticket sellers for the WWE at this point. Despite my dislike, the numbers don’t lie for the Beast Incarnate. Unfortunately for Brock, not even his recent charm offensive can turn my dislike for the part-timer with epic short matches. Yes, I’ve noticed the handshakes with the kids, it’s like looking through cellophane.
Target audience: children, men, casuals
