The wrestling star recently chats with PWMania about a fake run sheet for AEW Collision and the possibility of being on the show, which debuts next week.

Matt Believes He’d Be “Great” On The Show

The former WWE superstar, who also appeared on All Elite Wrestling (AEW) for a short run, was recently asked about a fake run sheet that is circulating on social media for AEW Collision. Could the talent end up on the show?

He notes that he’s “flattered”, but the run sheet was fake. The former WWE International Champion goes on to say he believes he’d be “great” on AEW Collision.

He also states that he thinks the promotion is doing “fantastic” things. After all, they’ve added another prime-time brand to their line-up, which shows growth.

The wrestler also notes that AEW might sell out Wembley Stadium, too. However, he’s clear that the fake run sheet is not the promotion’s “true” lineup for Collision.

The talent reveals that he won’t be on Collision unless Tony Khan calls him “tomorrow”, as he is a free agent and always “ready”. But he made it crystal clear that he does not have an AEW contract currently, and he won’t likely be there.

He had a short stint on AEW in the summer of 2020. However, the company did not sign him to a permanent deal.

The talent was released from the WWE in April 2020, due to COVID-19 budget cuts. Since, the star has wrestled for Impact, NWA, and GCW as a top heel.
