Karrion Kross Vs Bray Wyatt Was Discussed For WrestleMania 39

We will never know for certain, but apparently Karrion Kross & Scarlett vs. Bray Wyatt & Alexa Bliss was discussed for WrestleMania 39.

Karrion Kross Vs Bray Wyatt Was Discussed For WrestleMania 39

WWE began the program for Bray Wyatt vs Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39. Wyatt became ill and the match was pulled before being confirmed.

Months went by without word about Wyatt. Then, only days after being cleared to compete again, he passed away from a heart attack at 36 years old.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Karrion Kross spoke about how WWE brought the idea of a match to him. It would have been Kross & Scarlett taking on Wyatt & Alexa Bliss.

“I haven’t talked to like anybody but my wife about this,” said Kross. “So fast-forward, we were supposed to work last WrestleMania. Nobody knew that except for a collection of writers and some people in the office.”

“We were slated to do something. And we would talk for hours about how we wanted to get into it, what we wanted to deliver creatively for people where we thought we both needed to be.”

“We had ideas with like Alexa and Bo [Dallas] and Scarlett. You know, and then everything happened the way it did.”

“But he left a mark on anybody and everybody that he ever met. And it’s just very strange the way everything kind of just played out, like, beautiful and tragic.”

“And he was always an inspiration to me and always showed me warmth. But we were cool, and I’ll never forget him.”

We will never know what could have happened in the program.

When Bliss became pregnant, WWE did not have her return to TV. As for Kross, he continues to search for an actual storyline that will amount to something.
