This year’s WWE Crown Jewel isn’t quickly approaching and as the card shapes up nicely, it’s clear that Brock Lesnar won’t be in attendance. Still, as a staple at the event every year, there’s a good reason he won’t be at the show.
Why Won’t Brock Lesnar Be At WWE Crown Jewel?
According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, WWE sources reveal that officials decided not to bring The Beast Incarnate in for this event. With Roman Reigns facing LA Knight plus Logan Paul and John Cena in attendance, the tickets sold out pretty quickly.
As such, they believed it was best to “save” the star for another market event. Brock is expected to return to WWE for the 2024 Royal Rumble premium live event (PLE) and WrestleMania 40.
Fans haven’t seen The Beast on television since he lost to “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes at this year’s SummerSlam. He’s sure to get a massive pop when he arrives on scene at the Royal Rumble.
As the WWE superstar works a part-time schedule, it’s not unusual for him to be absent during major PLEs. However, The Beast Incarnate has been a part of the Crown Jewel since the first one that took place in Saudi Arabia in 2018.
GUNTHER Passes A Significant Milestone
As a seven-time WWE Champion, three-time WWE Universal Champion, King of the Ring in 2002, Mr. Money in the Bank in 2019, and won the Royal Rumble twice (2003, 2022), he is undeniably an incredible draw. Not to mention the fact that he broke the infamous WrestleMania streak the Undertaker had going on for decades.
As such, the superstar will be missed in Saudi, but it’ll be great to see him again come WM season. This year’s Crown Jewel PLE takes place on Saturday, November 4th, at the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
