Backstage Drama Between CM Punk & Jack Perry At AEW All In
According to Fightful, there were some “this again” and eye-rolling responses when it came to the backstage altercation between Perry and Punk. One source notes with certainty that Perry did not throw the first punch.
However, it seems that Punk shoved his colleague, placing him in a “choke”. Depending on who is recounting the incident, sources have said that CM Punk shoved, threw a punch, or pie-faced.
The situation occurred at the end of the Punk versus Perry match. One source notes that Samoa Joe tried to play “peacemaker”.
A number of sources state that Punk asked Perry if they had an issue, and Jack stated that Punk started this online with a real/fake glass story. It was claimed that Perry noted, “this was his receipt”.
According to the report, Perry told some individuals he was planning on making the statement during the bout. Those closest to Punk say there wasn’t communication between the AEW star and Tony Khan after the backstage altercation.

In addition, CM Punk told people he “hates” this place, because of all the constant problems he’s faced in AEW. Many have noted that he bears the bulk of the responsibility for these issues.
It was said that neither Jack Perry nor CM Punk were at the event’s after-party. Punk left London on Monday afternoon.
Both men were told they should leave Wembley Stadium at different times to avoid any added issues. It was confirmed that a potential match order switch may occur because of the problems between Punk and Perry, with the Golden Elite bout to be moved up.
There have been rumors of suspension, but the report couldn’t confirm them. WNZ will keep fans posted about any additional updates.
