With so many pro wrestling deals up, will the AEW contract of Jon Moxley keep him put or is WWE calling with hopes of The Shield reuniting.

When fans learned Jon Moxley would not re-sign with WWE, it was a total shock. Yes, creative did not help and he departed for the AEW. He debuted during their first show, closing the pay per view by attacking Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega. WWE never thought he would jump, but he did and he shows no interest in a WWE return; for now.
We know Moxley re-signed and now we have a few more details. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select revealed Moxley is under contract until at least 2027. Remember, he was working without a deal for months after All Out 2022. Then, he finally signed a 5 year extension. Lately, the Blackpool Combat Club has undergone dramatic changes. Bryan Danielson was violently removed from the stable and then Moxley won his AEW World Championship. Therefore, Danielson’s full-time in-ring career is over.
Jon Moxley WWE Return Could Eventually Happen
As for another WWE run, it is always possible. Moxley was really angry at the company at the end, so that would be the biggest hurdle. Hey, if AEW closes, then return has better odds. When his deal is up, look for AEW to keep him. Moxley has become a staple of AEW and I could see him as their marquee star.
I would like to see The Shield return, even if it is only once. While the group did not even last five years, they left a major mark. Few stables have come close to what they accomplished and those have been around for like a decade. So, will Jon Moxley sign another AEW contract in a few years, or will WWE make a better offer?
