NXT went from nothing to something special. They brought in top Indy names and it created some great TV. Those Takeover shows in the beginning produced some of the best matches ever in WWE. Then, NXT was completely redone as WWE changed their philosophy on hiring people. It was a bumpy two years, but now everything is running smoothly in NXT.

While no longer a stable, WWE created SCHISM (Ava Raine, Jagger Reid, Joe Gacy and Rip Fowler). Reid and Fowler were eventually granted their release and Gacy is likely headed to the main roster. Ava dropped the last name and she could be the final member of SCHISM still in NXT. While she mostly served as a valet and now general manager, Ava did wrestle. Although, it was not for long as she was nowhere near ready.

Ava Continues To Train

During Q&A podcast on Fightful Select, Corey Brennan went over her future inside a ring. ”For now there are no plans for her to wrestle,” said Brennan. “But, I do think she’s definitely someone who is a lot like Nick Aldis, in the case that if there is ever if there’s a time where it makes storyline sense, I think she will. I know that she’s continuing to train in the background as she is GM.”

Honestly, if she was not the daughter of The Rock, WWE would have already released her. She could continue to practice wrestling, while also serving as general manager. On the mic, she is decent. Nowhere near The Rock level, but above average. I would rather see on the microphone than possibly getting hurt inside a pro wrestling ring.
