Brock Lesnar has been removed from creative plans and a highly rumored WrestleMania 40 match is off as his WWE future looks bleak.
Brock Lesnar Removed From Creative Plans And WrestleMania 40
Everyone is shocked over the recent lawsuit filed against Vince McMahon. It invokes abuse and sexual trafficking, which resulted in his quick departure from WWE and TKO.
John Laurinaitis was named as well the court documents. Like Vince, he denies and any wrong doing and basically played the victim card.
While not mentioned directly, Brock Lesnar is seemingly involved too. He was identified as a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and WWE wrestler, so it has be him via process of elimination.
We noted yesterday how reports stated Lesnar would not been seen for som time. Well, his future looks even bleaker now and he is not planned for any events on the upcoming WWE schedule.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it noted how Lesnar is no longer part of creative plans and his WrestleMania 40 bout is off. WWE were going with Gunther vs Lesnar, but not word if the Intercontinental Championship would be decided.
That match was teased during last year’s Men’s Royal Rumble Match. Based off the reaction at that time and Gunther’s winning streak, it was certainly a match fans wanted.
Lesnar lasted appeared at SummerSlam, losing the trilogy to Cody Rhodes. He also planned for a break after that August encounter.
Perhaps, that will be his pro wrestling appearance; at least for WWE.
So, with Brock Lesnar no longer being discussed by WWE creative and a massive WrestleMania 40 match off, has “The Beast” reached the end of his wrestling career?
