There is a major Kane update pertaining to his pro wrestling future, as the WWE superstar continues to focus more on politics.

Big Kane Update On His Pro Wrestling Future

Kane’s WWE career dates back to 1995, making him one of the longest tenured wrestlers. The first few years saw him wrestle as Isaac Yankem and Fake Diesel.

Neither of those gimmicks worked and they are some of the worst WWE created. Then, everything changed when he became Kane.

He was the younger brother of the Undertaker and like “The Phenomenon,” a monster inside the ring. He was WWE Champion only once, and it was very brief, but he won a bunch of other gold.

The last five years or so have seen him compete very rarely. He makes some appearances, but many think his days inside the ring are over.

Well, in  a recent interview with David Gornowski, Kane hinted that his wrestling days might be done.

“I am probably not getting in the ring,” said Kane. “So, I watch it now and I’m amazed at how athletic everybody is.”

“I don’t think my body can take that kind of punishment anymore, you know? We always say never say never.”

“So I leave the door open to many different things.”

It is not like he needs pro wrestling. The soon to 57 year old, has been heavily involved in politics since 2018.

He is in his second term as Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. He won the Replication Primary by only 17 votes, but the rest has been much easier.

Kane (real name Glenn Jacobs) easily won the mayoral election both times with double-digit victories.

He lasted wrestled at the 2021 Royal Rumble and shortly after was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Also, he briefly appeared at SumerSlam 2022.
