After seeing yet another TNA Knockouts Champion in the Royal Rumble, will WWE and TNA do more business together?

Mickie James was the first, doing so back in 2022. Jordynne Grace is the latest, lasting just about 20 minutes in the 2024 edition.

Not only were both women in the match. Both brought with them the Knockouts title belt, and their day job was discussed on air.

WWE has had guests before. I remember even as a kid watching some WrestleMania matches where we had some Japanese talents coming over.

The Rumble is a bit different.

Grace was a nice surprise, and she showed out quite well.

Based on how things went…fans around the world are wondering one thing.

Will WWE And TNA Do More Business Together?

To be completely fair, while we did see two TNA talents in the women’s Rumble in two different years…their cases are different.

Mickie James noted that she was not actually under an official TNA contract in 2022. She was working with a verbal agreement.

I am sure she made sure that she was not going to upset her bosses, but legally, they had no binding contract to stop her.

However, Jordynne Grace is under contract. In this case, WWE had reached out to a number of promotions (would love to know who…).

TNA was one, and they welcomed the chance to have Grace showcase her talents in Tampa.

By all accounts, everyone was thrilled with how things worked out, so will there be more? Is there an agreement?

Per Fightful, there is no formal agreement for any future collaborations. That could always change, of course.

As it stands right now, this was yet another one-off, and a really slick one at that.

Given there are several significant WWE Superstars with a history in TNA, it would be nice to work out a reciprocal deal.

One where the arrival of Grace is just one of many interactions we can look forward to.

As for the Knockouts Champion herself? She can’t wait to do it again.
