He has worked limited engagements during his historic title run, so will Roman Reigns be at Elimination Chamber?
It is a fair question, considering what he’s done and not done.
But, given that the Elimination Chamber is the last premium live event before WrestleMania…and it’s a big one this year happening in Australia…
Roman Reigns will be there…won’t he?
Nothing has been announced as of now, so nothing is absolutely WWE official, so keep this in mind when we ask…
Will Roman Reigns Be At Elimination Chamber?
According to the Wrestling Observer, Roman Reigns will not be at the Aussie edition of Elimination Chamber this year.
And, for what it is worth, he is not scheduled for Backlash either. If that proves true, he would miss both the Australian PLE as well as the French one.
Missing Elimination Chamber, if accurate, is a bit of a disappointment.
I say this for a few reasons.
For one, it has been hyped as a massive happening for WWE fans Down Under. The company does not tour there all the time, so I understand if fans are disappointed to miss the Head of the Table.
For another, if true, it seems to certainly put to rest the suggestion that we could get The Rock and Reigns battling at Optus Stadium.
Rhea Ripley Has A Big Fan In The Rock
The theory behind a Rock-Reigns tilt in Australia was that it would be a huge match for that show. Having it there would still allow Cody Rhodes to finish his story against Reigns at WrestleMania 40.
Now…if all these reports are spot on…we have to really stay tuned to see how the Road To WrestleMania goes.
The other wrinkle in all of this? Shortly after WWE announced that Elimination Chamber would happen in Oz, there was buzz that The Rock would be involved.
What better way to ensure a massive crowd than by bringing in a megastar like him, right?
Now, that could still happen. No one is saying that one Superstar cannot appear without the other.
But, especially if there is some big match planned for Philadelphia in April, it would seem like a huge miss if they both were not there.
Again, nothing has been officially confirmed by WWE, so things could be entirely different in a month.
