Considering his hype (and factoring in some baggage), maybe you care about this…will Gable Steveson be back for WWE soon?

Steveson, the Olympic medalist who signed with WWE to great fanfare, has done very little for the company since.

Sure, he’s managed to appear at a couple WrestleManias. Yes, he’s made some moments.

But in terms of matches for WWE? The Golden Gopher grappler has wrestled one match in NXT, earning a double count-out.

And, while he did wrestle that match following his over-hyped “big decision”…that battle against Baron Corbin happened during the Great American Bash.

Will Gable Steveson Be Back For WWE Soon?

Considering that the Royal Rumble is less than a week away, it’s a fair question.

Now, one would assume there might be some ulterior motives there. Perhaps staff around on Fridays wanted a better look at the Olympian?

Because it isn’t as though Steveson can’t work matches in front of crowds, even off television, for NXT.

The big takeaways here? Steveson is still with the company, and making progress.

And while PWInsider was told this is just a young Superstar getting his reps in…it isn’t like WWE would tell us a week ahead of time if he’s been kept a surprise.
