Shawn Spears Wrestling History

Spears initially joined the WWE’s developmental territories in 2006, getting called up to ECW in 2008. He was later released in 2009.

Shawn worked in the indies after that until he re-signed with the WWE in 2013. At that point, he debuted in NXT and was eventually called up to the main roster in 2017.

His first main roster appearance was as a surprise entrant in the 2017 Royal Rumble match, entering at #10. He would make his official main roster debut on April 4th of that year.

After dealing with a hand injury in October 2018, Spears returned to action during a live event in early February 2019. Sadly, the WWE was not using him on TV.

It didn’t take long for him to become All Elite, appearing at their Double or Nothing pay-per-view in May 2019. It’ll be interesting to see the next chapter in his career unfold.
