There are reports World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has a torn MCL and partially torn meniscus, leaving WWE to make a big decision.

An argument could be made that Seth Rollins was the top wrestler of 2023. He was looking to carry that momentum into 20224, but we are off to a bad start.

On RAW, Rollins successfully defended his title against Jinder Mahal. Somewhere during the match, the injury took place.

There does not appear to be heat on anyone over what happened. Basically, it is part of the business.

Earlier reports stated Rollins suffered an ACL tear. Fightful Select now reports how he sustained a torn MCL and partially torn meniscus.

At the moment, there is no word if Rollins will require surgery. WWE was concerned enough that they pulled him from live events for this weekend.

There are unconfirmed reports that Rollins will address the fans on Monday’s RAW. As of now, neither the champion or WWE has confirmed anything.

Last year, Rollins became the inaugural World Heavyweight Championship. And, nobody has been able to take that title from him.

Now, Rollins and CM Punk have been trading words since Survivor Series. There seems to be some dislike and WWE was using that to fuel a program.

Many believe the plan was Punk vs Rollins at WrestleMania 40. That would likely close night one, thus allowing Punk to have his WrestleMania main event moment.

Now, everything could be tossed out the window. We should know within a few days, maybe less, if Rollins will need to vacate the belt.

He had to leave the belt behind once before, ending a great run. It is just a dangerous business.
