Is Jade Cargill In Florida For WWE Royal Rumble?
For years, WWE and AEW have been trading talent. We have seen wrestlers from both companies make the jump.
AEW did bring in a bunch of high-profile names like Bryan Danielson, Adam Copeland and Jon Moxley. WWE scored some names too, but the biggest was probably Jade Cargill.
In AEW, she was seemingly unbeatable. She was the inaugural TBS Champion for over 500 days and her streak was at 60 consecutive wins.
Then, AEW started to realize they had a problem. Jade beat basically everyone to defend her belt, outside of a few top names.
Eventually, Kris Statlander returned from injury and ended the streak to also win the title. They had a rematch, with the same outcome.
Around this time, Jade’s AEW deal was up and she did not re-sign. Instead, WWE made an offer and she could not refuse.
She is yet to wrestle, but WWE has promoted her on all three brands. Although, we have not seen her on TV for at least a month.
Now, that brings us to tomorrow’s Royal Rumble. WWE likes to toss in surprise entrants and some even think the ex AEW champion will win.
As of now, she is not confirmed for the event and that will not change. Yet, PWInsider Elite reports how Jade Cargill is in Tampa and could easily work the show.
They continued how she continues to work frequently inside the WWE Performance Center. She is athletic and has the look, so improving inside the ring is next.
If you want to make someone a star in their debut, winning the Women’s Royal Rumble Match will work. And, we might see that occur before Saturday ends.
