Just when will Damian Priest cash in his Money in the Bank (MITB) briefcase contract? According to reports, “very soon”.
When Will Damian Priest Cash In His Money In The Bank Contract?
Priest has hinted toward an MITB cash-in a few times over the previous months. Unfortunately, it’s been stopped by Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre in the past.
As per the X/Twitter account BWE, a reliable WWE and wrestling spoilers account, Damian is coming very close to cashing in. In fact, it could happen before the end of January.
There was a ton of speculation that it could’ve happened during this week’s WWE RAW. World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins faced Jinder Mahal for the title in the main event.
However, this never came to be. With that being said, the 2024 Royal Rumble is around the corner.
With the Rumble being one of WWE’s “Big Four” premium live events, this is a major possibility. Only time will tell.
Will Damian Priest Be Successful In His MITB Cash-In?
There has been no information as to whether or not Priest will have a successful MITB cash in. Over the years, only five talents have been unsuccessful at capturing a WWE title with the advantage of having the briefcase and contract.
Those five stars include John Cena, Braun Strowman, Austin Theory, Baron Corbin, and Damien Sandow. If Priest does cash in, it will likely be against Seth Rollins and not Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
Still, reports reveal that Rollins is set to face CM Punk at WrestleMania 40. There is a possibility that Priest could have a successful cash-in, but a short title run, winning the championship and then dropping it back to Seth for his WM 40 program with Punk.
Then again, with the slight dissension in the group, if Damian fails at a cash-in he could get booted out of Judgment Day, which would add an interesting layer to this storyline. Only time will tell.
