As does tend to happen, one WWE talent is earning rave reviews, and probably a promotion soon too.

And, in this case, this is not a Superstar. There are plenty of those stories, of course, but this isn’t one.

However, if you immediately suspected we were talking about someone working with NXT?

You’d be correct.

In this case, the man getting praise…and possibly more work…is Vic Joseph.

For those who don’t watch NXT, Vic Joseph is basically the voice of the brand on television.

He occupies the announce table for the black and gold brand, sharing space with WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.

To be fair, we did indeed see Vic Joseph work commentary on a main roster brand, but that was several years ago.

During an announce team shuffling, Joseph was sent down to NXT to serve as the brand’s lead announcer.

Since landing that gig, he’s done nothing but improve and deliver, week in and week out, everything that has been asked of him.

And according to PWInsider, that effort does not go unnoticed…and it seems like it is going to get him a lot busier.

It may even possibly lead to a promotion, though that remains to be seen.

But, what we do know is that WWE television is likely going to change a bit in the next year or so.

NXT is moving to the CW beginning next year. So far, Joseph is still expected to remain in the lead spot for the brand.

However, we also know that SmackDown is going to the USA Network. What we don’t know just yet is where RAW might wind up.

What is worth wondering is, could the new television homes lead to another announce team change?

And if so, could that see Vic Joseph get his shot on RAW or SmackDown once more?
