Trish Stratus returned to WWE earlier in the year and it went rather well. Now, she is showing interest in another run for 2024.
Trish Stratus Excited For Possible 2024 WWE Return
Usually, retired wrestlers like to return for one or two more matches. Others retire and then continue to wrestle on a regular occurrence.
Trish Status returned at the top alongside Lita. Stratus stayed for over six months after, while Lita left pretty quick.
In the beginning, we saw Stratus work with Becky Lynch. Once the tag gold was gone, we saw the WWE Hall of Famer turn heel.
While speaking on GAW TV, Trish Stratus was open to another WWE run in 2024.
“Honestly, 2023 was probably the most insane year I’ve had on all fronts,” said Stratus. “Good things are happening, new opportunities and stuff that I didn’t even think I could tap into that I am.”
“It’s been fun. I can’t wait. Honestly, at the end of the day, the support from my Stratospherians, we are so thankful for everyone.”
“They are what drive us. They’re what make us, and your interests are what make the interests, and therefore, we are a thing.”
“Thank you to all my Stratospherians for coming out, for supporting, and it was so fun when I went back to wrestling, tapping into ‘if you know you know’ moments and having that ‘Oh, I loved when she did that back in the day.’ That was fun.”
WWE Now Looking To Avoid Free Agents
“I look forward to doing that again next year. I’m so excited.”
During the hight of her WWE run, she was the biggest female star. Since then, WWE has put more focus on the women’s division and thus they became larger stars as well.
Stratus has retired a bunch, so each appearance lost that special feeling. Although, her latest heel run was impressive.
If she does return, a match with Zoey Stark would be easy to book. Or, maybe a feud with Lita.
