Trish Stratus returned to WWE earlier in the year and is open to coming back again if given the opportunity to get back in the title picture.
Trish Stratus Interested In Another WWE Championship Reign
To start the year, WWE had Trish Stratus and Lita return to TV. It saw Lita team with Becky Lynch to eventually capture the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Then, WWE had Lita attacked backstage and Stratus took her championship slot. After losing the belts, Stratus heel for the first time in about 18 years by going after Lynch.
Stratus and Lynch would spend about six months feuding. In that time, Zoey Stark entered the picture to help Status.
The feud between Lynch and Stratus is over. Lynch won a Steel Cage Match at Payback to solidify her dominance.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Stratus was open to another WWE run. In fact, she wants to purse another singles title.
When I embarked on the journey, I came back for WrestleMania,” said Trish Stratus. “Let’s do this little program.”
“Suddenly, heel Trish had to come alive. Then, it just kept going and going.”
“I got to do things I didn’t get to do, right? Ladder Match, Saudi Arabia, Cage Match.”
“To be able to dip my toes into the current landscape and check boxes that I wasn’t able to check back in the day was pretty amazing. Yeah, I mean, I could become an eight-time champ.”
“That sounds good to me. Why not?”
When Status originally retired in 2007, she did so as a record seven time WWE Women’s Champion. Nowadays, that record has been surpassed by several superstars.
So, should Trish Status return to WWE for another program? And, any interest in seeing if the soon to 48 year old has one more title reign left?
