Some in Ring Of Honor (ROH) are growing extremely frustrated with Tony Khan and the lack of effort being put into the promotion.

When Tony Khan introduced AEW, he had a lot to handle. He is running a business that could be worth billions and trying to battle WWE at the same time.

Sometimes, he seems to get overzealous and makes mistakes. He purchased Ring of Honor (ROH) about two years ago.

At the time, ROH was in rough shape. They had not been doing great and the pandemic greatly affected them since they could not produce shows.

Former ROH owner Cary Silkin was looking to sell the company and he found an interesting option. Khan wanted to buy it and that is what happened. 

Therefore, Khan is now responsible for AEW and ROH. Since AEW has several shows during the week, it seems like his time goes there.

So, ROH has not been getting the attention it needs. And, those in ROH are not happy with what is going on.

During his Rumor and Innuendo podcast, Nick Hausman went into further details.

“There are a lot of people frustrated, at least in Ring of Honor, frustrated with how things are going right now,” said Hausman. “Obviously, we’ve heard of other frustrations backstage.”

Since becoming owner of ROH, they have only produced a few pay per views and recently started TV tapings again. For now, there is no home to air those epodes outside of ROH’s personal streaming service.

Only a few days ago, Final Battle was produced. It is typically the biggest show of the year for ROH, but most matches were not announced before the starting bell.

The show was fine, minus the lack of fans, although some storylines were needed. Personally, it feels like AEW has Khan’s attention while ROH just sits there.
