Drew McIntyre did not look thrilled when CM Punk returned at WWE Survivor Series and he apparently has stories about their past.
Drew McIntyre Has Stories About CM Punk
CM Punk returned at the conclusion of Survivor Series and everyone was shocked. Remember, his return was about 10 years in the making after he walked-out of the company.
Seeing Punk back got a massive pop, but others were not sold. Fans and talent might not have been happy considering all the negative stories about Punk.
Drew McIntyre seemed like one of the WWE superstars not pleased. He actually stormed out of ringside before Punk made his entrance.
While on The Bump, McIntyre knows Punk means big business for WWE. Although, he apparently has some stories.
“He is a huge name, he draws a lot of eyeballs, that’s very clear,” said McIntyre. “You can just look at the numbers.”
“I’m a bigger-picture person. I tend to took beyond all reasonable doubt, look at the evidence.”
“And, I’m not going to go into great details right now because now’s not the time. But, what I said on RAW is there are so few people on the current roster that have been on the same roster as him for years and years.”
“I was on TV when I was 22 in 2007. I was around the person, I know the person, I know what he’s truly like.”
“I’m aware it’s cool and does numbers. That’s awesome for right now.”
Does WWE Have A CM Punk Problem?
“But we’re going to wait and see right now. I’ve got stories, I’m going to keep them to myself, and in the future, if we cross paths, I’m not the same guy I was in 2010. I’m a lot bigger, smarter, more experienced, and I’ll drop his a—.”
McIntyre recently turned heel and he desperately needed it. He has a big match coming up on RAW against Seth Rollins.
Punk has declared his entrance into the Royal Rumble Match. There is a decent chance he wins to start a WrestleMania program with either Roman Reigns or Rollins.
