Brock Lesnar is usually only featured at WWE pay per views, leading many to wonder if he will appear again before the year concludes.
Will Brock Lesnar Wrestle For WWE Again in 2023?
Brock Lesnar returned to WWE a decade ago and it was much different than his first run. He was still steamrolling through competition, but now working a much lighter schedule.
He competed once on SmackDown and a few special live events, but mostly has stuck to pay per views.
Last time fans saw Lesnar, he completed his trilogy with Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam. Before heading to the back, Lesnar acknowledged Rhodes and might have returned to his face role.
We already know he will not be at next week’s Crown Jewel pay per view from Saudi Arabia as the card is already packed with major names. Also, it will mark the first show from the country that Lesnar will not be part of.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer discussed how SummerSlam unfolded. Basically, it was decided months ago how Lesnar would be off TV until WrestleMania 40 season.
So, we likely not see Brock Lesnar back until around January. He could be part of the Royal Rumble, although he could easily be booked for WrestleMania 40 with only a few appearances and no matches.
The Royal Rumble is January 27 and comes from Tropicana Field in St Petersburg, Florida. And, WrestleMania 40 takes place in Philly over two days during April 6-7.
2023 saw Lesnar work with Omos in the beginning of the year before switching his focus onto Rhodes. And, both superstars left those feuds looking stronger.
So, is it the right call to have Brock Lesnar sit out until WrestleMania season approaches or are the missing out on a huge opportunity?
