A simple question for this news item…is the world ready for the real Nick Nemeth?

Now, in case you are a tad lost…and maybe you are…you knew Nemeth far better over the last couple decades as the former WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler.

The man formerly known as the Showoff in WWE was released a few weeks back once the Endeavor deal went down.

Budget cuts are a real thing, and talent was not immune to them.

Nemeth, a former main roster Superstar, in all likelihood has the standard 90 day non-compete clause, meaning we cannot see him anywhere else until late 2023 at the earliest.

And given his profile and capability, there’s surely a high amount of interest in him from Tony Khan and AEW. I wouldn’t blame them. Among other newly free talents…

But that isn’t the point.

In a somewhat surprising move, Nemeth spoke out following his release, but before that non-compete ends. Often, released talents lay low for a bit after the cuts.

Not Nick.

So…

Is The World Ready For The Real Nick Nemeth?

It’s a loaded question, but based on what the man himself said…are we?

During an interview, the former WWE champion said that, for the first time in his wrestling career, he can finally be his “true, authentic self.

Which makes me wonder…what does Nick have in store for fans…and was WWE squandering something special or unique?

I mean, we have all seen plenty of talents struggle in one ring only to move on and become incredible talents somewhere else.

Now, Nemeth certainly didn’t always struggle in WWE. He won Money In The Bank and had probably one of the two or three best cash-ins ever.

But many can agree, he has been lightly used for too long now. Nemeth feels re-energized and about to be free from any creative handcuffs…so WWE may regret letting him go.
