Karrion Kross was thought to have the potential to be WWE Champion. But, that has not happened. Therefore, has WWE given up on pushing him or are they waiting?
Karrion Kross Getting Pushed After WWE Crown Jewel 2023?
When Karrion Kross departed Impact Wrestling, there were several opportunities. In the end, Kross and his now wife, Scarlett, decided to join WWE.
Like many, they were sent NXT. Kross went undefeated and then won the NXT Championship.
Unfortunately, he was injured in his title win against Keith Lee. Therefore, he had to vacate the belt.
He would return months later and easily recaptured the gold. After dropping the belt to Samoa Joe, his undefeated streak was over and he was main roster bound.
WWE redid the gimmick and it was embarrassing. Neither Kross nor Scarlett lasted much longer with the company.
Triple H gained more and several released names were brought back into the fold. This includes Kross and Scarlett.
Since then, they really have not done much. There was a feud with Drew McIntyre, but that seems like the extent of any push.
As for Scarlett, she has wrestled a few live events but remains mostly ringside. She was one of the hosts for NXT’s Halloween Havoc Night One and will probably be back this Tuesday for the other half of the show.
Now, BWE has noted, “Karrion Kross is actually in line for a push right now.” There were no further details provided.
Kross did mention a few weeks back about an idea the late Bray Wyatt pitched. Wyatt wanted to work with Kross at WrestleMania 39. Kross would have Scarlett by his side and Wyatt would have Bliss.
Obviously, the match did not happen. Bliss became pregnant and Bray Wyatt was removed from TV because of COVID and heart related issues.
Wyatt was to return at the end of summer, but passed away from a heart attack. We will never know what could have become of that angle.
So, is Karrion Kross going to get that massive push many thought he earned in NXT?
