Jade Cargill Is WWE-Bound
ESPN broke the news earlier today, announcing that the former AEW star is heading to the WWE. The company later confirmed the story, stating that the once-All Elite talent has inked a multi-year agreement.
According to reports, she will start training today, Tuesday, September 26th at the WWE’s Performance Center, located in Orlando Florida. It remains unknown if the talent will begin working on the main roster upon her debut or go to the NXT developmental brand, first.
There’s been a buzz that the former AEW TBS Champion was set to go to the WWE after she left All Elite Wrestling. Her final AEW match took place on the September 15th edition of Rampage, where she challenged Kris Statlander for her TBS title, but lost the match.
Cargill’s Wrestling History
She first tried out for the WWE in 2019, attending a tryout at their Performance Center. While unsuccessful, she trained under Q.T. Marshall and Dustin Rhodes at the Nightmare Factory, upon getting some “words of wisdom” from WWE Hall of Famer, Mark Henry.

Still, the wrestler became All Elite when she debuted in Tony Khan’s promotion in November 2020, during a Dynamite epi. She had many highlights in the company, but the biggest one was her record-breaking reign as TBS Champion, the longest in the company’s history.
She scored the title after winning some grueling matches during the TBS Championship tournament. She beat Ruby Soho in the finals, in January 2022 to become the inaugural champion. She held that title for an incredible 508 days. It’ll be interesting to see what she accomplishes while in the WWE
