A current WWE superstar on Monday, Night RAW has been subtly hinting at a heel turn. Will this happen anytime soon? Check out the story, below.
WWE Superstar Turning Heel
Shinsuke Nakamura has been slowly teasing that he could turn heel, very soon. During the July 31 edition of RAW, he faced off against Tommaso Ciampa.
The King of Strong Style ended up scoring the win when he used Ciampa’s tights as extra leverage, for the victory. He’s also been more aggressive than usual, as of late.
In fact, during the July 17th edition of the Red brand show, Tommaso interfered in Shinsuke’s match against Bronson Reed. Reed was Ciampa’s target.
Still, Reed ended up winning the match, as such, which frustrated Nakamura. He ended up kicking Tommaso in the face.
Ciampa has tried to make things right with Shinsuke, but he’s been ignored. With SummerSlam days away, will the WWE star end up doing something shocking during the Biggest Party of the Summer?
Interestingly enough, Nakamura is booked for the event, taking place this Saturday, August 5th, in Detroit. Both he and Ciampa will participate in the SummerSlam Battle Royal.
Shinsuke Nakamura’s History With The WWE
Nakamura signed with the company in 2016, and officially debuted in a match against Samy Zayn during NXT TakeOver: Dallas. He spent one year with the developmental brand before being called up to the main roster.
He’s seen many incredible milestones with the promotion, during his tenure. He’s been NXT Champion (twice), Intercontinental Champion (twice), U.S. Champion (twice), and a SmackDown Tag Titleholder.
He also won the 2018 Men’s Royal Rumble, an accolade not many stars hit. Shinsuke ended up challenging then-WWE Champion AJ Styles but lost the bout.
What lies in store for Nakamura if he turns heel? Only time will tell.
