Nia’s History With The Company
She was signed to the WWE in early 2014 and made her NXT debut in May 2015. The Irresistible Force entered the main roster in 2016 and made a tremendous impact on the women’s division during her tenure with the company.
Not only did she hold the WWE RAW Women’s title, but she was also a two-time Women’s Tag Team Champion, with Shayna Baszler. Unfortunately, she was released by the WWE in late 2021.
According to the New York Post, it was because she did not get the COVID-19 vaccine. Still, the superstar did hint on social media that there were issues backstage on how management dealt with certain talents.
In addition to her wrestling accolades, she also happens to be Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s second cousin. Plus, she has a very close relationship with The Rock’s mom, Ata Maivia-Johnson.
