Jake Paul and Logan Paul have been grabbing entertainment and sports headlines the past few years. Logan as dabbled in boxing and pro wrestling, while Jake focused on boxing.
WWE signed Logan and since then, he has been featured in top matches. That continued at tonight’s SummerSlam when he battled Ricochet.
Those two have history dating back to the Royal Rumble, when they hit a move that went viral. They tried to match that act during the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. Although, there was a botch and luckily both walked-away without inquiry.
That brought us to SummerSlam and many figured their match would see a viral moment. Those predications came somewhat true as there were some viral moments, but not one major spot.
It is likely the match opened the show as Logan wants to leave and be there for Jake’s boxing fight in a few hours. He takes on former UFC fighter, the always popular Nate Diaz.
Logan Paul and Ricochet are being placed in a great spot on the SummerSlam card. The opening bout gets plenty of attention because those wrestlers are expected to get crowd energized.
For Ricochet, he might be in the biggest program of his WWE career. He is one of the few wrestlers on the roster that can hit moves people can only envision.
Logan will look to continue his quick rise in WWE. Already, he has wrestled some of the best like Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
Therefore, WWE could see Logan as a future World Champion in the near future. It would certainly bring the promotion lots of attention.
