Pretty Deadly Member Suffers An Injury During SmackDown
After the 2023 WWE Draft, RAW and SmackDown looked slightly different. Also, NXT was part of the Draft and a bunch of talent were sent to the main roster.
NXT lost a few current champions in the process and tag teams as well. One of those teams sent to SmackDown were Pretty Deadly.
Since being part of the blue brand, we have seen some rather humorous vignettes from Elton Prince and Kit Wilson. Lately, they have been by the side of Austin Theory and feuded opposite The Brawling Brutes.
During Friday’s SmackDown, the two team battled. In the process, a Pretty Deadly member suffers an injury.
PW Insider reports how Elton Prince has a separated shoulder. They did not have a timeframe for a possible return.
And, WWE is not hiding the injury. We have seen Elton Prince cut a promo after the match, where his arm was in a sling.
While speaking on the SmackDown LowDown, Elton Prince said a similar injury would be career killer for an ordinary man.
“Let me make this absolutely clear to everybody,” said Elton Prince. “This is the kind of injury that puts the average person out for years. I’d say career end.”
“This is a career-ending injury but not for me. No, I might just take a couple of weeks off.”
“I’ll be back to, you know, I’ll be spiffing again boy. What do you think?”
Hopefully the shoulder only keeps Elton Prince out for a short time. In the meantime, nothing is stopping the former NXT Tag Team Champions from continuing to entertain fans using their skills on the mic.
