There have been multiple reports going back and forth regarding Orton’s wrestling future. A new one sheds some light on an imminent WWE return.
Randy’s Return Could Be Sooner Than Expected
The tweet is above. The former WWE Champion has been out of action since May 2022.
He suffered a back injury and required surgery. There have been reports stating he may never wrestle again.
In fact, about a month ago, his WWE Hall of Famer father, Bob Orton Jr. spoke to Sportskeeda about his son’s injury. At that point in time, he did confirm that Randy was training for a return.
Although, he did note that it may not ever happen. Bob Jr. revealed during the interview that his son’s doctors advised him not to get into the ring again.
At the age of 43, the talent has had quite a wrestling career. Many fans would be very upset if he had to hang up his boots.
With that being said, he’s accomplished a lot. Plus, health should always come first, especially since he still has a young family to look after.

The star has had a once-in-a-lifetime type of career with the WWE that has spanned over two decades. He’s a 14-time WWE Champion, has held both the Intercontinental Championship and United States title, plus, has been a four-time Tag Titleholder.
In addition, he won the 2013 Money in the Bank (MITB) briefcase and has won the Royal Rumble, twice, once in 2009 and once in 2017. He’s both a Triple Crown Champion and Grand Slam Champion.
