For this week’s RAW In A Nutshell we get right to the simple point : it’s the last stop before London and Money In The Bank.

Officially, we do have SmackDown prior to the premium live event…but in case you’ve been asleep for a while, that’s happening in London too.

So what’s on the agenda this time around?

Well, if last week’s RAW and SmackDown offer any hints…we really don’t know, do we?

I mean, we can surely make the proper assumption that tonight will give us a ton of Money In The Bank final hype. After all, it is the go-home show for the red brand.

Beyond that, who knows. Vince is back to being Vince, so changes are virtually guaranteed.

Whether they will be good changes or not…remains to be seen.

So, with all that said, let’s get to the point…

Let’s crack this one open and see where things go!

Best Match of the night:

Could easily go with GUNTHER and Sami Zayn…but then Carmelo Hayes and Finn Balor were like…hold our beer.

Seriously, two really good matches, for free. PLE-level matches, in theory, and we got them on RAW, and neither was even the main event.

Worst match of the night:

Rousey and Rodriguez.

This one screams Vince…I think. Two minute women’s match?

I mean, it was short, it was bad, it was effectively pointless. Yes, totally aware that this was tied to the tag title match on Saturday…but as such, that deserved more than 2 minutes on the go-home show.

Crowd Chants of the Night:

No chants, but I know the arena is smaller than most, and the Savannah crowd was hot.

Star of the Night

Lots of praise to go around, if I so chose…but honestly I want to give a lot of this to Carmelo Hayes.

Could Hayes land on the main roster before Bron Breakker?

Honorable mentions to Imperium, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor and so on.

Spot of the Night:

I missed serious, legitimate Tozawa

Jobber of the Night:

Can I go with Vinci and Kaiser? Because they took a lot of the post-match assault.

Upset of the Night:

Sadly, no upset of Hayes over Balor.

Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:

Carmello Hayes was on RAW once again…but this time…he was REALLY on RAW.

You know how it was said he’s getting prepped for the main roster? Having a big match against Finn Balor….ON RAW…is one way to do that.

Botch of the night:

2 minutes for a women’s match. I mean, I know the women’s MITB hype segment would get more time…more Superstars.

But…the match should have gotten more and done more.

Comment of the night:

Changing it up this week, because I can…but how’s this one sit with you?

A couple thoughts…

One, that is major praise, especially with a lot of rave reviews for Forbidden Door.

Two, sure, it could be some WWE fan boys/AEW haters being biased.

Three…this was not the only one I saw posted. And they were posted before the show even was close to ending.

It makes you think, but I will play Switzerland and say this : it’s a good time to be a wrestling fan.

LOL Moment of the night:

I wanted Johnny Gargano to drill The Miz while he was walking backwards up the ramp.

But he gave us an LOL moment, calling Ciampa a Savannah Banana.

Noteworthy Moment:

I mean, having the NXT Champion make his RAW debut against the current #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Champion is a big deal.

Riddle officially is getting Gunther in London. I’d love to see Riddle get the gold, but something tells me the Austrian retains a while longer.

Nice tease here…but will Becky win the briefcase?

Overall lowlights:

Can I harp on the poor women’s match once more? Of course I can.

That is perhaps my biggest gripe.

Overall highlights:

Melo don’t miss. And while he lost, he didn’t miss on his RAW debut.

Cody and Dom, for a filler feud of sorts, is really fun to watch.

Gunther and Sami…damn.

Did I mention Balor and Melo?

Loved this, too…

I did not hate Cody and Damien closing the show…just wasn’t the best of the night, not close.

After the final bell:

Well, that is all she wrote, right?
