Davey Boy Smith Jr. To Appear AEW AEW All In?

In just over 60 days, AEW will head to England for All In. They are holding the card from Wembley Stadium, which has a history in pro wrestling.

AEW likes to bring in wrestlers that are not under contract to a nice pop. Naturally, they might pull something at All In.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, noted how Davey Boy Smith Jr. could appear. His father, “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith fought Bret Hart at the old Wembley Stadium at SummerSlam 1992.

On that night, “The British Bulldog” pinned his brother-in-law to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Many consider it the greatest match of all-time.

WWE said over 80,000 fans were in attendance, but that number is heavily disputed. It does not look like AEW will match that number when they come from the new Wembley Stadium, but they look to be on track towards around 70,000 tickets. Already, it will easily be the largest crowd ever for AEW.

And, remember WWE is making a trip to England on July 1 for Money in the Bank. We are starting to see a new trend of pay per views being held outside the United States such Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia and England.

Davey Boy Smith Jr. might simply be in attendance for a quick cameo when AEW is going over his father’s legacy in the stadium. Or, he could have something to do with current Owen Hart Cup.

In WWE, Davey Boy Smith Jr. won tag team gold on two occasions. Both times, his partner was another Hart Family member, Tyson Kidd.
