Carlito returning to WWE could be on the horizon after his appearance at Backlash. He was involved in the highly popular Bad Bunny vs. Damian Priest match.

Once Carlito’s music hit at Backlash, fans went ballistic. The pop from the arena was extremely loud and plenty of people were talking on social media.
According to Boozer666, which has broke some recent backstage stories, there is a chance. Boozer666, sated:
“He just might accept it this time. Carlito been offered a lot of times a contract the saw him with some TV time and stories + coaching. He kept declining all the time. But i guess its time he knows whats right for him. He can be useful.”
Based off physical appearances alone, Carlito is in phenomenal shape. Even if he does not return as a wrestler, he could be helpful working backstage or even being an ambassador for WWE.
At Backlash, Carlito came to help even the odds for Bad Bunny after The Judgement got involved. And, he did not come alone as the LWO and Savio Vega were also there to support Bad Bunny.
Carlito hit his vintage apple-spitting move on Dominik Mysterio, so there is already some groundwork for a quick WWE program.
Back in 2004, Carlito debuted for WWE and got a huge push by defeating John Cena to become the United States Champion. Although, he never won the top prize and was released in 2010 after supposedly refusing rehab as he failed the WWE Wellness Policy.
Yet, Carlito claims he requested the release.
Fans did see Carlito work the 2021 Royal Rumble Match. He also worked a tag team match the following night alongside Jeff Hardy against Elias and Jaxson Ryker.
That was last WWE fans saw of Carlito until Saturday night’s surprise appearance.
So, would out like to see Carlito returning to WWE as a regular performer or in a backstage role?
