WWE Teases a Heel Ambrose – When Will It Go Down?

The WWE universe predicted Dean Ambrose turning heel sooner rather than later, and it seems there are some plans in the works to make it happen. During a RAW segment this week, Ziggler and McIntyre seemed to hint that Dean may be on his way to turn. Here is the story.

Treated Unfairly by the Shield

This week’s RAW segment became quite intense when Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler appeared to want to recruit Dean Ambrose. It was clear the pair were looking to pit Ambrose against his Shield buddies, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.

“Roman and Seth do not appreciate you. Dean, you deserve more.”” – Drew Mcintyre

Throughout the night Ziggler and McIntyre reminded Ambrose about his success in the singles division, implying Dean could do better.

Aside from the whole Ambrose might be turning deal, let me just take a moment to disclose my ongoing support for Drew McIntyre. He has been so impressive since his return to the WWE. Every time he appears, I am glued to my seat. If the WWE runs with this well, McIntyre could be the main event sooner rather than later.

Ambrose Turn Predicted Before His Injury

Another important fact that must be mentioned here is that Ambrose was expected to turn heel before his injury in 2017. Recovering for almost a year, it has been a hard road to return for Ambrose. Still, with plans in the works to make Ambrose turn then, could the WWE be going ahead with them?

WWE Swerve?

Of course, the WWE should be quite aware that WWE fans are speculating heavily about an Ambrose turn! By making it appear as he might, the WWE could be pulling a double swerve on us, making Ambrose appear heel only to come to his Shield buddies aid at the last minute. I would not be surprised since Vince does love a good swerve!

A Dean Ambrose turn would be much better if it was unexpected. With the crowd just waiting for this turn to happen, it takes a little away from the heel turn surprise. Remember Becky Lynch? A heel turn everyone knew was going to happen. The crowd may have been in her corner, but the heel turn did not get the crowd booing.

Of course, Seth Rollins turning on his Shield buddies to join the authority is something that will be hard to beat. In fact, I don’t believe we will see a turn like that for another decade. However, if the WWE plays its cards close to the vest and waits a while, they might be able to achieve the same thing with Ambrose.
