An interesting new rumor claims several episodes of WWE Raw in 2025 could have start times in the United States during the afternoon.
Next year is set up to be another big win for World Wrestling Entertainment. The reason is that the company will take WWE Raw to the streaming giant known as Netflix. It will be year one of a deal that could last for the next decade. It is also a big shift for wrestling fans and how they watch the WWE product.

However, the deal is part of a major strategy from Netflix to air more live talent. An example of that new push will come next week with the highly anticipated boxing bout between heavyweight icon Mike Tyson and YouTuber Jake Paul. So WWE Raw will still air at its usual time at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT. However, being on a streaming service instead of a regular television network offers unique opportunities.
WWE fans have gotten more used to watching premium live events like last week’s Crown Jewel during the day in the US while it airs live in time zones hours ahead. But for episodes of WWE Raw or Smackdown that take place internationally, they are recorded and air on tape delay. That may change on Netflix.
WWE Raw episodes in Europe could air during the afternoon on Netflix
Last week WWE announced that before WrestleMania 41 next April, they will go on a 12-date tour of Europe that will include six episodes of WWE Raw and Smackdown. The days and locations can be found below:
- March 14 – Smackdown in Barcelona, Spain
- March 17 – Raw in Brussels, Belgium
- March 21 – Bologna, Italy
- March 24 – Glasgow, Scotland
- March 28 – London, England
- March 31 – London, England
On a Thursday episode of Wrestle Votes Radio, it was reported that Netflix is open to the idea of airing episodes of WWE Raw during the European Road to WrestleMania tour live. Which means they would be broadcast on Monday afternoons in the United States.
Obviously, fans will be able to stream the episode whenever they like but it is an interesting switch from the norms of the last few decades of the show. Episodes of Smackdown — which air on the USA Network — will remain a tape-delayed version at normal times on Fridays.
