Let’s get into our RAW results for November 4, 2024, and see what kind of fallout we have following Crown Jewel.

Quick Results:
- IYO Sky won a women’s #1 contender match, earning a shot at Liv Morgan’s title. This match was necessitated due to Rhea Ripley’s injury (which was explained via story line beating on last week’s NXT).
- War Raiders defeated New Day, with Kofi and Xavier once again having some drama
- Dragon Lee defeated Chad Gable, with a minor assist from Rey Mysterio. Why do I feel like this is building toward perhaps a first-ever mixed traditional Survivor Series match?
- Damian Priest outlasts Dom Mysterio, Seth Rollins and Sheamus to get a crack at Gunther and winning his former title back. Major assist from Big Bronson Reed, to no major shock.
Best Match:
The women’s battle royal was better than I expected it to be. But for me, I would call it a toss up between Dragon Lee and Chad Gable or the men’s #1 contender match. Yes, Damian Priest was sort of predictable-as was Bronson Reed attacking Seth Rollins-but it sets up a really good title match.
Worst Match:
Honestly? They were all pretty good.
Noteworthy Moments:
First RAW from Riyadh, and the 13th WWE show from Saudi Arabia if my math is correct.
WWE doing some extremely long term story telling, going back to Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel and The Miz from years gone by. Why? To shine a light on why Uncle Howdy is pursuing Miz now. Loved the segment, looking forward to this one.
IYO Sky gets a shot at Liv Morgan, thanks to Ripley’s current status.
Holy S@#$ Moments:
Somewhat surprised that WWE had Sami nearly reunite with Jimmy and Jey on an overseas, taped show. No disrespect to the Saudi fans, but it felt like too big a moment to happen when and where it did. The fans were chanting Sami Uso. Jey changed his mind from the other night and called Sami family, even though Zayn said he was “out”. Jey pleaded for Sami to come to SmackDown so that the four OG Bloodline Superstars could sort things out.
Seems likely we have our four faces, who will get confronted by those pesky heels and set up WarGames, right?
Lowlights:
I get there are cultural reasons for it, but I hate the women’s ring gear for these shows. No, it’s not misogynistic or anything. I dislike that they have to change how they are. That being said, I do remember the first of these shows, where the women weren’t even performing. So…progress, I suppose.
Highlights:
Did not hate the women’s battle royal. And while she might be a throwaway challenger, I do like IYO getting the opportunity all the same.
I honestly loved the promo from Gunther. He quietly put Ludwig Kaiser on notice in a way, took a shot at Dom and put over Cody for his win on Saturday as well as being complimentary of Priest and Rollins in particular. Not your typical heel promo, but I dug it.

After The Final Bell:
Well, that is a wrap for RAW in Riyadh. And with another weekly show overseas, WWE announced that the Road to WrestleMania will feature more RAW (and SmackDown) shows not in the United States. Given how international fans show out, that is not a bad thing.
