A new report suggests WWE Raw superstar Rhea Ripley could again be sidelined with a new injury.
One of the top feuds on the WWE Raw brand over the last six months has been the ongoing rivalry between current women’s world champion Liv Morgan and her predecessor Rhea Ripley. The former tag team champs have been embroiled in a love triangle with Judgement Day member Dominik Mysterio. And it’s delivered some of Raw’s best moments in 2024.

Interestingly enough, the ongoing love story between Morgan and Mysterio really took off in the late spring and early summer when a surprise shoulder injury Ripley suffered during an attack by Morgan sidelined her for several months.
The current feud between the uber-talented wrestlers seems to be in its final stages. However, a new injury to the former champion could put it on pause or completely scrap the final chapter in their rivalry.
Rhea Ripley reportedly suffered a legitimate injury on WWE Raw two weeks ago
During the October 30 edition of NXT, Rhea Ripley made a surprise on-camera appearance with the baby faces for the 10-woman tag team match scheduled for next week. Later in the show, she was found beaten and bloody near her car from an attack by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. It seems that wasn’t done just for storyline purposes and it may be to write her off TV for a while.
PW Insider reported on Thursday, that there is a belief in the company that Ripley suffered a legitimate head injury during a headbutt spot while fighting Morgan and Rodriguez on the October 21 episode of WWE Raw. The company reported that the former women’s champion has a broken orbital.
She did not appear on this week’s episode of WWE Raw and the outlet revealed she has been removed from the taping next week. And “There is no word on a timeline for her return at this time.” The injury angle on NXT was reportedly a last-minute addition to the show and worked well for the company since she lives close by and wouldn’t have to fly to do the angle.
The recovery time for such an injury is usually at least a month.
