Not everyone wants to stay home after, but would Liv Morgan give up her new WWE contract for motherhood?

Before we get too deep into things, I want to just say that no, so far as we know, Liv Morgan is not expecting a child at the moment. Deep breath for all the fans. Morgan, the current Women’s World Champion on the RAW brand, recently dropped in on fellow Superstar Logan Paul’s ImPAULSive podcast. And on the show, Morgan was asked about what would change for her if or when she and her beau, fellow Superstar Bo Dallas, become parents.
The answer may surprise you
Morgan would not be the first female Superstar to get pregnant and miss maternity time, as would be her right. Becky Lynch has done it. Ronda Rousey did it. Alexa Bliss and Carmella most recently did it, and their returns have yet to happen. It may happen for Liv. Or it may not. But she said she would be different than most all those names above (Bliss and Carmella are TBD). So how would Liv Morgan be different?
Morgan, one of the top female Superstars, would not return to WWE after giving birth. She said nothing against any of her fellow Superstars, but if and when she becomes a mom, her intention would be to not return to the ring. Morgan did not see herself getting back into the ring, preferring mom duties to Dom duties.
And to say she’d walk away from WWE and her new contract to become a mom and be a stay at home one at that? Sounds like she knows what she wants, if and when the time is right. After all, she is 30 right now. Her biological clock probably isn’t ticking too loud just yet. Then again, maybe she watched the series with Bianca Belair and Montez Ford. One main point in the first season was Belair wrestling with wanting to be a mom, but not having it happen yet. And, realizing that if it happens, she could miss nearly 2 years.

So what do I think? If that is what she wants to do, I am sure her WWE deals-new contract included-should help her live her life as she wants to. But I also question if she can truly stay away. Look at some past Superstars, like Beth Phoenix, Trish Stratus and Lita. Two of the three are moms, all three had been out of the game for extended stints. None could stay away. Many say it’s an itch that when you need to scratch it, you can’t not scratch it. I bet Morgan will be back. She just may not rush back. Plus, with the busses all these talents have, what would stop her from rolling around from show to show following Uncle Howdy with the baby? Liv might love WWE, and she earned her new contract. But she seems to know what she really wants.
