A Roman Reigns WWE return could be happening very soon, after taking a break following his WrestleMania 40 defeat.
More: WWE Schedule 2024: King And Queen Of The Ring Closes In
For 1,316 days, Roman Reigns was the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. In today’s age, it is rare for a title run to even last a year, let alone several years. Only a handful of names held the title longer in WWE such Bruno Sammartino at 2,803 days, Bob Backlund at 2,135 days and Hulk Hogan at 1,474. We witnessed a piece of history that might not ever be duplicated. Like most stories, someone had to capture the title. That went to Cody Rhodes, who finished his story at WrestleMania 40 after failing the year prior at WrestleMania 39.
The last image fans saw was Reigns’ shoulders on the canvas as Rhodes got the pin. Pictures later showed Reigns and Paul Heyman embrace at the top of the ramp. Since then, Reigns has been take a vacation. Although, that might be up rather soon. On the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer went over the current idea for when Reigns returns. “Heyman and Roman are being turned babyface by the audience,” said Meltzer. “They make it clear that he’s coming back soon. So I figure that’s probably in July.”
The Bloodline’s Internal Struggle Continues When Roman Reigns Is Back In WWE
While away, Solo Sikoa has taken charge of The Bloodline and made huge changes. He booted Jimmy Uso and then brought in Tonga and Tonga Loa. Heyman looks terrified and needs “The Tribal Chief” back to restore order. It does seem possible we see two versions of The Bloodline battle.
That could see Reigns & Jimmy taking on Solo, Tama and Tongo. Jey Uso seems busy on RAW and might not be part of the war. Jacob Fatu signed with WWE back in April and is yet to debut. That could happen upon Reigns’ return. Eventually, The Rock might get involved too. One thing I have to say, is how WWE has done everything right with the stable. So, will a Roman Reigns WWE return happen before July concludes?
