Television ratings continue to be low and ticket sales seem to be even worse. On the flipside, WWE is having one of its best years on record when it comes to views, ticket sales, and merchandise sales. That is why it should come as no surprise that quite a few AEW talents are looking to make the jump to their competitors.

One in particular rumored since the summer is former AEW tag and trio champion Penta El Zero Miedo. After injury time was added to his and his brother Rey Fenix’s contract earlier this year, the Mexican superstar reportedly has hit free agency. And recent rumblings have suggested he has already come to terms on a deal with WWE.

Penta El Zero Miedo could make WWE debut on WWE Raw Netflix debut

It has led to a great deal of speculation about when he could make his eventual debut. On this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw, a mysterious video of a zero being slashed over had many under the impression Penta’s arrival could be imminent.

Well, the word in pro wrestling circles, according to Wrestling Headlines, is that the luchador is likely to make his debut on the highly anticipated first edition of WWE on Netflix next month.

There has been a lot of hype and speculation heading into the company’s launch on the streaming giant. WrestleMania-caliber matches featuring CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa have already been booked for the card. Penta El Zero Miedo’s debut would be another element that would make the January 6 event even more memorable.
